About us
It all began with a lifelong dream of days spent creating, cooking, gardening, and repurposing. This dream came to life in rural North Tipperary, when Cottage Garden Craftworks was created with a small garden and workshop. The arrival of our first granddaughter sparked the creation of our fairy line, which grew into The World of Fairies.
Now, after 20 plus years, we've moved to a tiny hilltop farm in County Mayo to fully realize our vision. Here we will be reclaiming the land to grow a large flower, fruit and vegetable garden. When the renovation of the old barn is completed, we will be using our fresh, home grown, chemical free produce to make delicious treats, cakes and jams etc in our fully HSE registered kitchen.
All crafts, gifts and eventually produce will be available from our farm cabin located on the farm.

Cottage Garden Craftworks & The World of Fairies is a small business located just outside the village of Kilkelly, Co.Mayo, Ireland.
We specialise in creating 100% handcrafted gifts that are often inspired by the beauty of nature and the world of fairies, whilst being heavily focused on recycling and repurposing.
Our products are made with love and attention to detail, using traditional crafting techniques.
Being neurodivergent means we are able to embrace a unique creative process without boundaries. This allows us to create true one-of-a-kind, handmade and handcrafted pieces.

Cottage Garden Craftworks & The World of Fairies is located at ZEEDS Farm, Derrycashel, Kilkelly just a 3 minute drive (3.1km) from Kilkelly village, the N17 and just a 12 minute drive from Ireland West Airport Knock.
In fact, we are the very last place you can pick up your handcrafted Irish souvenirs before arriving at Knock Airport.... just in case you're looking for a last minute souvenir from Ireland ;-D
When travelling to Cottage Garden Craftworks by car :
As you turn off the River View road onto the 260m track up to ZEEDS Farm PLEASE NOTE this is a single vehicle track with NO passing places. Before travelling down the track always check for any oncoming vehicles.
At the top of the track the road forks left and right, please keep to the LEFT signposted ZEEDS Farm. Head towards the bright green, pink and white farm cabin at the end of the drive. You will find ample parking just to the right of the farm cabin in front of the barn.
** PLEASE DO NOT enter the driveway to the bungalow!

It is an approx 41 minute scenic walk or 9 minute cycle from Kilkelly village center. Past the children's playground and the pretty riverside picnic spot, down the quiet river view road.
